We love  supporting charity and community events in the local area. We also love inviting the community to be part of school life. As well as supporting National charity events the children take part in fundraising for charities of their choice too. 

Our annual calendar includes a harvest celebration when we cook with the children for the community - we have baked different types of bread and run our own soup kitchen! Both went down very well with families and our friends in the village.

The school also leads a whole community Remembrance service at the village cenotaph and always takes part in the Bolsover lantern parade after making the lanterns in school with Junction Arts.

The Emergency Services

The school organises a 'Santa Stroll' and 'Spring Saunter' to encourage families to take walks in the local area, they are well-supported by generations within families as well as their pet dogs.
